Barry M. Rice, 62, of Palmer Township, died Monday, June 22, in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Linda (Harris) Rice. They were married for 40 years last July.
A 1956 graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, he was chairman and chief executive officer of EPCO Communications, formerly Easton Printing Co.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Malcolm M. and Hazel Mae (Frankenfield) Rice.
He was a member and former councilman of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wilson, and served on the church finance committee.
He was an Army veteran, serving in Germany.
Rice was a member and past president of the Northampton Country Club and the Tri-County Graphic Arts Golf Association.
He was a former member and treasurer of the Kiwanis Club, Easton, and a member of the Lehigh Valley Club of Printing House Craftsmen and the Sales and Marketing Executives of Easton.
Survivors: Wife; sons, *****. of Portland, Ore., and ***** of Bethlehem; daughter, **** of Bethlehem; sister, ***** of Fanwood, N.J.; stepmother, Esther (Coppock) Yeisley Rice of Palmer Township, and four grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Thursday in the church. Call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Strunk Funeral Home, 2101 Northampton St., Wilson, and 10-11 a.m. Thursday in church.
