Dorothy C. Clauss, 84, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died on Monday, April 25, 2005 in Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ.
Born: On December 9, 1920 in Easton, Pa, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Lillian Kieffer Repscher.
Personal: Her first husband, Orville "Bud" Butler, died on August 8, 1965. She was employed as a bindery worker with Sheridan Printing in Alpha, NJ for 20 years, retiring in 1985.
Memberships: Dorothy was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg, NJ. She was also a past president of Bernadine-May American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Phillipsburg, NJ.
Survivors: She is survived by her second husband, Earl "Pete" Clauss; two sons, ***** of Alpha, NJ, ***** of Pennington, NJ; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services: The funeral will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman Street, Phillipsburg, NJ. Calling hours will be Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Township. |
