William F. Reed Jr.
William F. Reed Jr., 72, of Bethlehem died Saturday, May 25, in his home. He was an electronic technician for the City of Bethlehem for 30 years before retiring.
Born Oct. 23, 1929, in Bethlehem, he was a son of Helen E. Kiefer Reed of Bethlehem and the late William F. Reed Sr.
He was a member of Cathedral Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He attended Lehigh University. He and his wife, the former *****, observed their 45th wedding anniversary in December.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by a stepson, *****of Bethlehem; three brothers, **** of Watertown, N.Y., **** of Allentown and **** of Coopersburg; four sisters, **** of Alameda, Calif., ***** of Allentown, Adelaide Kirschman of Fountain Hill and **** of Coopersburg; two step-grandchildren and a step-great-grandchild.
Services and burial will be private. There will be no calling hours. The Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden St., Bethlehem, is in charge of arrangements. |
