Phillip C.Raub
Phillip C. Raub, 72, of Belfast, Nazareth R. D., died yesterday in Easton Hospital
where he was admitted Thursday.
He was employed in the shipping department of American Can
Co., Wilson, for 38 years, retiring in 1970.
Born in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Anderson and
Catharine Piatt Raub.
He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Philipsburg,
and American legion Post No. 415, Nazareth. He joined the National
Guards, Easton, in 1928, serving 3 1/2 years. He served in
the U.S. Army during World War II.
He and his wife, the former Helen Stevens, celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary Feb 3.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, *****, Wind
Gap, wife of Wind Gap Borough Chief of Police; two brothers,
Carl of Easton R. D. 2, and John of Easton; two sisters Mrs.
Helen Stralo, Bethlehem, and Mrs. Verna Pfenning, Easton; two
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Schmidt Mortuary,
Nazareth. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine.
