Mrs. Florence R. Burd
Mrs. Florence R. Burd, 64, of 1415 S. Main St., Phillipsburg,
died Saturday afternoon in Warren Hospital.
Born in Phillipsburg on July 29, 1909, she was a daughter
of the late Andrew and Catherine Piatt Raub.
Her husband, Albert Burd, died in 1964.
She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Straw Church.
Survivors include a son, *****., Phillipsburg; two sisters,
Mrs. Helen Stralo, Bethlehem, and Mrs. Jacob B. Pfenning, Palmer
Township; three brothers, Philip C. Raub, Belfast; Carl T.
Raub and John H. Raub, both of Palmer Township; three grandchildren
and a great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Clements
Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in St. James Lutheran
Cemetery, Straw Church.
