F. S. Rodenbach -- textile worker
Florence S. Rodenbach, 97, formerly of Durham, Pa., died Sunday, Oct. 15,
in Lifequest Nursing Home, Quakertown, Pa. where she had lived for the past five
years. She had been a textile machine operator for the former Coccia Manufacturing
Co., Riegelsville, Pa.
Born Sept. 2, 1903 in Nockamixon Township, she was a daughter
of the late Wilson and Cora Morris Raub. She was a member of
St. John Lutheran Church, Quakertown. Her hobbies were gardening,
sewing and baking. Her husband, Her husband, Ernest, died in
1966.
She is survived by one son, Carl A. of Leesburg, Fla.; two
daughters, Violet M. of Quakertown and Helen I. Abel of Durham;
one sister, Ada Scheetz of Quakertown; 11 grandchildren and
11 great-grandchildren. A brother, Leroy, died in 1998 and
a sister, Clara Diehl, died earlier.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in The Robert W.
Snyder Funeral Home, 327 Easton
