He was the husband of the late Cora (Bell) Smith Pysher. He was a farmer and sawmill operator for many years before retiring in 1979. Born in Washington Township, he was a son of the late Simon and Anna (Good) Pysher. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Stone Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Marian Smith, with whom he resided, and Mrs. ** of Mount Bethel R.1; a son *** of Bethlehem; two brothers, Vernon of Phillipsburg, N.J., and Charles of Mount Bethel R.1; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren, and two step-great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Reed Funeral Home, Bangor. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Monday.
