William J. Paulus
William J. Paulus, 72, of 1039 Lincoln St., died this morning in
Easton Hosptial where he was a patient two weeks. He was ill a
year.
Born March 21, 1898, in Bethlehem Township, he was a son of
the late Amandus and Mara Clause Paulus.
Mr. Paulus was employed as a maintenance man by Bethlehem Steel
Corp. 25 years, retriing in 1963.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, and was a former
councilman of thechurch. He was also a member of Pioneer athletic
Asscociation.
His first wife, Ida Frankenfield Paulus, died in 1934.
Survivors include his widow, Beulah V. Mackes Paulus; six daughters,
four sons, two sisters, Mrs. Frances Weaver,Wilson,
and Mrs. Irene Dornblaser, Bethlehem Township; a brother, Edward
A., Farmersville; 26 grandchildren and nine great-greandchildren.,
A daughter, Joan, died in 1952.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Strunk
Funeral Home. Easton. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery, Hecktown.
