Robert H. Lance Sr.
Robert H. Lance Sr., 52, of 276 Irwin St., Phillipsburg,
was dead on arrival at Warren Hospital this morning after
being stricken at work at the J.T. Baker Chemical Co., Phillipsburg.
He was a fireman at the company for 32 years.
Born in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the let Clyde and
Jennie Nixon Lance.
He was a member of Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church,
Phillipsburg, and a lector, for the church. He was a life
member of the Alert Hook and Ladder Co., Phillipsburg, and
an Exempt fireman.
Surviving are his wife, the former Marian Spada; two sons,
a daughter, two brothers,
Clyde and Howard, both of Phillipsburg, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 8:15 a.m. Monday from the Finegan
Funeral Home, Phillipsburg, followed by a Mass of Christian
Burial at the church at 9 a.m. Interment will be in the church
cemetery. |
