Russell S. Nolf
Russell S. Nolf, 70, of 426 Second St., Weatherly, died yesterday at Hazleton State General Hospital.
Mr. Nolf was born Aug. 6, 1892, in Easton, a son of the late Harvey E. and Emma Ealer Nolf.
He retired Aug 10, 1957, as general foreman in the Ashmore diesel shop of the Lehigh Valley Railroad at Hazleton. He was employed by the railroad more than 50 years.
Mr. Nolf was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Weatherly; Waverly, N.Y.., Lodge 407, F&AM, and the Lehigh consistory Allentown.
Survivors include his widow, the former Helen Tyson; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Terry, Cleveland, Ohio, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will beheld at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, Weatherly.
