Reuben Nolf
Reuben Nolf, aged fifty-seven years, was found dead in bed by his wife, at ten o’clock Sunday night at their home 1029 Washington Street, this city. Mr. Nolf had been complaining the past week of not feeling well, but was able to be about the house. The wife visited one of her children Sunday afternoon and the deceased was at home with several of the children. He retired early and at nine 0’clock he was still heard to be breathing regularly. Mrs. Nolf went to the bedroom about ten o’clock and discovered that her husband was dead. A physician was called who stated that Mr. Nolf had been dead but a short time and gave the cause as heart failure. The deceased was a native of Williams Township where he was an ore miner for a number of years. He moved to Easton about two years ago and worked as a laborer. He is survived by his widow and these children; Mrs. William Unangst, of Island park, Mrs. Edward Bowlby, Mrs. Charles Wenner, Oliver, Reuben of Easton; Floyd of South side; Frank, of Morgan’s Hill and Chester, at home; also two brothers, Thomas, of Glendon, and John of Glendon, and one sister, Mrs. Susan Moser, of Morgan’s Hill. The deceased was a member fo the Glendon M. E. Church. |
