Harold “Ike” Nolf 58, Easton Native, Fuel Deliveryman
Harold C. (Ike) Nolf, 58, of Hillendale, Bangor, R.D2, died at 5 p.m. yesterday in Easton Hospital. He was a patient there since being stricken ill Saturday.
Mr. Nolf was employed for 30 years as a fuel truck deliveryman for the Walters Tire & Oil Col, Easton.
He was born in Easton, August 3, 1902, a son of the late Frank B. and Meta Moyer Nolf. He resided at the Bangor R.D. address for the last six months. He resided at 477 Line St., Easton, for 37 years previously.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran, Easton; the Bangor Elks Club, and the Fleas Club, Easton.
Surviving are his widow, the former Jessie Roberts Kroesen; two sons, Richard K., stations at the South Weymouth, Mass., Naval Air Station, and Harold R., Palmer Township; one daughter, Jeanne L. wife of Reuben Fortner, Easton, and seven grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Shilinger Funeral Home, Easton. |
