Mrs. Edward Walter
Mrs. Jennie Walter, 70, of 476 Watson Place, Phillipsburg,
died yesterday in Warren Hospital.
Mrs. Walter was employed as a cook at the Sisters of mercy
Convent in Phillipsburg, retiring two years ago. Before that
she worked in the cafeteria at J.T. Baker chemical Co., Phillipsburg.
Born in Warwick, N.Y., she was daughter of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Martin Nixon.
Her husband, Edward Walter, died in 1965.
Survivors include three sons, Howard, Robert and Clyde Lance,
all of Phillipsburg; a sister, Mrs. Grace Otto, Easton; a
brother, Gerald Nixon in Connecticut; seven grandchildren
and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Finegan
Funeral Home, Phillipsburg. Interment will be in Riegelsville
Cemetery. |
