Mrs. Clinton W. Garrison
Mrs. Blanche E. Garrison, of Washinton Avenue Oxford, NJ., died Saturday
afternoon in Warren Hospital. She was 61.
Mrs. Garrison was born at Straw church, Greenwich township. She resided
the greater part of her life in the Belvidere area. She was a daughter
of the late Franklin and Emma Higgins Nixon.
Her first husband, Herman Petty, died in April 1924. Her second husband,
Clinton W. Garrison, died in May 1945.
She was a member of Oxford First Presbyterian Church of Hazen.
Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Charles Lesney, Irvington, N.J.,
and Miss Freda Petty, at home, a brother Frank A. Nixon, Oak Ridge,
N.J.; a sister Mrs. George Hutchison, Phillipsburg R.D. 2, and a grandson
Charles Lesney Jr.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the MacFadden Funeral
Home, Belvidere.
