William Moser, Chief of Police of Belvidere
William S. Moser, 64, Belvidere chief of police, died last
night in Warren Hospital 15 minutes after he was admitted.
He was stricken with a heart attack at his home, 170 Prospect
St., Belvidere.
Mr. Moser farmed for 11 years in White Township before he
was named chief of police in 1944.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Frank and Emma Moser.
He resided in the Belvidere area 34 years.
He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Belvidere,
and Warren Lodge 13, F&AM, Belvidere.
Survivors include his widow, the former Rosalen Ehrie, and
a brother, Frank, Easton.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the MacFadden
Funeral Home, Belividere.
