Edward R. Miller, 72, of 160 Roseto Ave., Roseto, died Monday,
March 24, in Gracedale, Upper Nazareth Township. He was the
husband of Doris (Cistone) Miller. They were married 51 years
last April.
He was a block cutter for the former Stoddard Slate Quarry,
Pen Argyl, for many years until becoming disabled in 1981.
Before that he was employed by the former Capital Slate, East
Bangor.
Born in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late Reuben
and Lillian (Stewart) Miller.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church,
Roseto.
Survivors: Wife and nieces and nephews.
Services: 9 a.m. Monday, Hough Home for Funerals, 207 Market
St., Bangor; Mass at 10 a.m. in the church. Call 2-4 and 7-9
p.m. Sunday. |
