Walter S. Meixsell
Walter S. Meixsell, 71, of 201 Spring St., West Easton, died
at 3:20 a.m. today in Betts’ Hospital where he had been
a patient for 17 days. He had been in ill health the last three
years.
Mr. Meixsell was employed as a shipping clerk at the Victor
Balata & Textile Belting co. for 35 years. He retired in
1962.
Born Nov 8, 1893, in West Easton, he was a son of the late
Abraham and Millie Tomer Meixsell
He was a former fire chief of the West Eaton Fire Co. and
a life member of the company and the West Easton Athletic Association.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his widow, the former May Evans; two sons, ****
and Stanley, both at home; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Kalin and
Mrs. Maude Lance, both of West Easton; a step-son, Harold Heiselmeyer
of Bethlehem , and one grandson.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Fisher Funeral
Home, Wilson.
