Earl Meixell, 71, Grocer in Phillipsburg
Earl W. Meixell, 71, of 180 Summit Ave., Phillipsburg, a grocer,
died last night in Warren Hospital where he was a patient since
Saturday.
Mr. Meixell operated a grocery store at his home address.
Born Nov. 28, 1898 in Easton he was a son of the late Steward
and Elizabeth Karcher Meixell. He lived in the Phillipsburg
area all his life.
His wife, the former Iona Hartzell, died in 1965.
He was graduated from Phillipsburg High school in 1917 and
was a member of the loyal Order of Moose, Easton, and the Fraternal
Order of Eagles, Phillipsburg. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
Survivors include two sons, Earl F., Washington, N. J., and
Raymond S., Somerville, N.J. and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rupell
Funeral Home, Phillipsburg. Interment will be in Easton Heights
Cemetery. |
