Obituary - the wife of Mr. Stephen Haupt, the well known milkman of this place, died at the family residence, on Goepp street, on Saturday evening last at 8 o'clock. Death in this instance came as a welcome visitor to Mrs. Haupt, who had lived in agony and suffering, being completely prostrated for five years, with dropsical and rheumatic afections. Her maiden name was Levers, she being a daughter of the late George Levers, a well known farmer, formerly residing in Bethlehem township. She had attained the age of 53 years but last week. Her remains will be interred at Farmersville on Wendesday Morning, next to 10 o'clock. Mrs. haupt leaves, besides her brereaved husband, four daughters, one the wife of Mr. Herman S. Grosh, of Bethlehem, and the rest single. |
