Theodore F. Lawall, of Bethlehem, died at his home Satruday last from the effects of a paralytic stroke, which he received the day previous. Mr. Lawall was born at Farmersville in March 1845. He was the only son of David and Mary Ann lawall and was raised on his fathers farm. Deceased was married in 1868. In 1874 he moved to Bethlehem and took charge of the American Hotel, which he managed until 1876. in 1877 he became landlord of the Washington Hotel and ran that popular hostelry for eleven years. In 1888 he purchased the Central Restaurant which he conducted to the time of his death. He was a member of the Hecktown church, a beloved husband and father and an energetic and respected citizen. Besides his bereaved wife and daughter, Mrs. Dr. Walter, his mother, Mrs. David Lawall, of Hecktown and a sister, Mrs. Von Steuben of Allentown, also survive. His father died two years ago.
