... Roger A. Laubach, of Marlton, NJ, died Friday, November 10, 2006 at home.
Born: On July 3, 1922 in Riegelsville, NJ, he was a son of the late Harry and Daisy Cyphers Laubach.
Personal: Roger was last employed as controller for Burlington County Community Action Program. He was a World War II veteran serving with the 100th Division in France and Germany and received the Bronze Star. He spent much of his retirement researching family genealogy. He was a 1940 graduate of Phillipsburg High School, a 1942 graduate of Churchman Business College, a 1949 graduate of Rider College where he was a member of Delta Sigma Pi.
Memberships: He was a member of Saint Matthew Lutheran Church in Moorestown, , NJ; the New Jersey and New York State Society of CPA's; the Laubach Family Association where he served on the book and genealogy committees; the Society of Colonial Wars; Sons of the American Revolution in which he was very active; the American Legion Post 42 of Moorestown; the VFW Post 7677 of Medford; and the Warren and Bucks County Historical Societies. He for more than 20 years with the American Red Cross Bloodmobile, and was listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, and Who's Who in Finance and Industry.
Survivors: He is survived by a sister-in-law, , and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Ethel Apple, and a brother, Norman Laubach, both died earlier.
Services: Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at 11 a.m. in Riegelsville Union Cemetery in Riegelsville, Pa. |
