Mrs. W. H. Mason, Widow of Chipman Mill Manager
Mrs. Bertie H. Mason, formerly of 210 N. 14th Street, Easton, died yesterday in Eastwood Convalescent Home. Wilson, where she had been a guest for seven years.
She worked for the standard Silk Mill in Phillipsburg many years ago.
Born in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Elizabeth Cyphers Laubach.
She attended Olivet Presbyterian Church in Easton. She was on the board of women managers at Warren Hospital, a member of the Easton YWCA and the Lady Kinard Club.
Her husband, William Mason, a former vice president and general manger of Chipman’s Hosiery Mill in Easton, died in 1956.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Shillinger Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in the Phillipsburg Cemetery, The ford Funeral Home, Washington, is handling arrangements. |
