As he played “Near, My God, to Thee.’ Augustus Laubach, father of Dr. C.C. Laubach, of Scranton, suddenly fell forward on the keys and expired.
Miss Margaret Laubach, a granddaughter was in the house at the time and w9ondering why the piano stopped so suddenly, ran to her grandfather’s side. She tried to rouse him but couldn’t. Physicians summoned pronounced him dead. The deceased was a cousin of William Laubach, senior member of the firm of William Laubach & Sons, Easton dry good merchants. |
