Martin F. Laros
Martin F. Laros, 73, a retired carpenter, who spent most of his life in Easton, died last night at Nazareth R. D. He formerly lived at 1009 Northampton Street.
Mr. Laros retired from carpentering about two years ago because of impaired vision. He was born in Forks Township, April 27, 1878,a son of the late Clinton and Eliza Ealer Laros. He never married.
He was a member of Forks-Salem Evangelical Reformed Church, the carpenters union and the Jacksonian Democratic Association, both of Easton.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. John A. Burley, of Tatamy, and a brother, Herbert R. Laros, of Flint, Mich.
Funeral services will be held at the Schmidt mortuary , Nazareth, on Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Floyd R. Shafer, D.D, pastor of Forks Reformed Church, officiating. The Rev. Philip H. Pearson, of Easton will assist to the rites. Interment will be in Forks cemetery. |
