George G. Larison, 88, of Palmer Township died Tuesday, Dec.
8, in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Thelma (Longyore)
Larison. They were married for 35 years last month.
He was a bartender for the Palmer Fire Company, Wilson, until
retiring. Previously, he worked at the former Chipman Knitting
Mills, West Easton, for 35 years.
Born in Far Hills, N.J., he was a son of the late William
Russell and Margaret (Bunting) Larison.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, having served on the
USS Shangri-la.
He was a founding member of the Easton Emergency Squad, a
member of the West Easton Athletic Association and Four County
Firemen's Association, Stroudsburg, and a life member of the
Order of Fleas, Easton.
Survivors: Wife; sons, John of Phillipsburg and George, residence
unknown; sister, Elizabeth Brewer of Easton, and several grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Friday, Strunk Funeral Home, 602 W. Berwick
St., Easton. Call 1-2 p.m. Friday.
