Russell I. Kutz Active in his church
Russell I. Kutz, 87, of Whitehall Manor, Whitehall Township, formerly of Monroe Street, Easton died Saturday, April 27, in Lehigh Valley hospital Hospice.
He worked at Ingersoll-Rand Co. in Phillipsburg for more than 40 years, retiring 9177.
Born June 24, 1914, in Easton, he was a son of the late Russell and Lenora Hartenstine Kutz.
He was a life member of St. Pete’s Lutheran Church in Easton, where he was an active member of the council and severed as treasurer for many years.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
He was a 1932 graduate of Eaton High School. He attended Churchman Business School in Easton.
His wie the former Grace Stoute, died in December 2001.
He is survived by two daughters, *****, of Clifton park, N.Y. and ***** of Whitehall Township; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A sister, Betty Miller, died earlier.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the church, High and Porter Street, Easton, Call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday I the Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton Street, Easton.
Burials will be in Easton Cemetery.
