Danielsville man fatally injured in fall from roof
East Stroudsburg - a 27-year-old Danielsville man died Monday
afternoon as a result of injuries he suffered in a fall from
the roof on a house on which he was working in Stroud Township.
Robin S. Kunsman, 27, of 3964 Mountain View Drive, died at
2:43 p.m. in the operation room at Pocono Hospital, according
to Robert Allen, Monroe County coroner.
Allen said Kunsman was working with his father, Edward, on
a new house that was being built on Hickory Valley Rad. Allen
said the younger Mr. Kunsman apparently lost his balance and
fell 30 feet. The fall was reported at 9:54 a.m.
Allen said it appears that Robin Kunsman suffered multiple
internal injuries as a result of the fall. He said doctors
attended him for several hours, but were unable to save his
life.
Mr. Kunsman and his father owned and operated the Edward E.
Kunsman and Son Roofing co., Bangor.
he was a 1973 graduate of Wilson Area High school and a member
of Western Salisbury United Church of Christ, Allentown R.D.
2; the Williams Township Sportsman Club, and the Fleas Club,
Easton.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, the former
Rebecca Weida; two sons, ***** and *****, both at home, and
three brothers, **** of Easton, and ***** and *****, both of
Bangor.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Trudy in the church. Interment
will be in the parish cemetery. The Horace W. Schantz Funeral
home Inc., Emmaus, is in charge of arrangements. |
