Calvin M. Krueger, 53, Proprietor of Market in Wilson
Calvin M. Krueger, 53, proprietor of Cal’s Market, 1526 Washington St., was stricken fatally yesterday while making a delivery in the 1500 block of Lehigh Street, He resided at 24 18 hay St., Wilson.
Born Aug 26, 1915, in Butztown, he was a son of Mrs. Sarah Grube Kruger, Hellertown, and the late William Krueger.
Mr. Krueger was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran church, Farmersville; the Newburg Odd Fellows; Wilson Boro Civic Association, Palmer Township fire Co, Avona Volunteer Fire Co. Inc., Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 45; Young Democratic Club, Wilson; McKinley Club, Easton, and the Northampton County Motor Club.
Survivors include his widow, the former Jean L. Clause; a son, *****, serving with the army in Vietnam; twin daughters, ***** and *****, both at home; a brother, *****, Bethesda, Md., and two sisters, *****, Bethlehem Township, and *****, Hellertown.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Shillinger Funeral Home, Easton. |
