Carl E. Kriel, 72, of Palmer Township, died Friday, Aug. 24,
in his home. He was the husband of Lorraine (Rossnagle) Kriel.
They were married for 47 years last November.
He worked for 22 years for Phillipsburg Housing Authority
before retiring in 1995.
Born in Palmer Township, he was a son of the late Carl E.
Kriel Sr. and the late Florence (Kiefer) Kriel Bilder.
He was an Army veteran and a member of Brown and Lynch American
Legion Post 9, Palmer Township.
He was a member of AARP.
Survivors: Wife; son, Larry D. of Lower Nazareth Township;
stepbrother, sister, two granddaughters.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Strunk Funeral Home, 2101 Northampton
St., Wilson. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Contributions: Visiting Nurse Association Hospice of Easton
or American Cancer Society, Bethlehem.
