Daniel S. Kramer, World War II Veteran
Daniel S. Kramer, 81, of James Street, Phillipsburg, died Saturday, March 16, in Warren Hospital.
He was a route salesman for Mrs. Smith’s Pie Co. for 24 years retiring in 1980.
Born July 1, 1920, in Lower Nazareth Township, he was a son of the late Stewart and Carrie Kramer.
He served in the Army during World War II. He was awarded the EAME Ribbon with five Bronze Stars and Arrowhead, the good conduct Medal and the American Defense Ribbon.
He was a life member of the Order of the Fleas in Easton. He was a member of the Andrew O’Dor Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 9308 in Phillipsburg.
He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Fam.
He and his wife, the former Stella Braim Xander, were marred for 42 years.
Two brothers, Clarence and Paul, died earlier.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday , April 6, in Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Road, palmer Township. There will be no calling hours.
The Doyle-Devin Fuenrla Home, 5331-35 S. Main St., Phillipsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
