Steward D. Knecht
Steward D. Knecht, 57, died suddenly last night at his home,
20 North Main Street, Nazareth. He was born in Schoeneck, son
of the late Robert and Mary Roth Knecht. He was a member of
the Nazareth Moravian Church. For many years he conducted a
plumbing business and at the time of his death conducted a
florist business.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Edith Richter Knecht; a
son, Staff Sgt. Kermit Knecht, of Louisville, Ky., and three
brothers, Calvin, of Schoeneck; Howard, of Nazareth and Floyd,
of Copella.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock
in the Bartholomew funeral home, 211 East Center Street, Nazareth,
with the Rev. Robert I. Giering, pastor of Nazareth Moravian
Church, officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery,
Nazareth. |
