Floyd W. Klass
Floyd W. Klass, 55, of 2123 Hay St., Wilson died yesterday
afternoon in Easton Hospital where he was a patient since March
4.
Mr. Klass was employed in the highways department of Wilson
for a number of years, having formerly been employed by the
Fauerbach Pattern Shop, Palmer Township. Before entering military
service in 1942 he had been employed by Taylor-Wharton Inc.,
Palmer Township.
He served with the U.S. Army forces in the European Theater
during World War II.
Born March 11, 1911, in Easton, he was a son of the late Howard
and Nellie Shupe Klass. He attended public school in West Easton.
He was a member of the Wilson Borough Civic Association, the
West Easton Athletic Association, Liberty Hose Co., of Easton
and the Palmer Volunteer Fire co.
Surviving are his widow, the former Catharine M. Boehm; a
daughter, Jeanne, at home; two sons, Robert, serving with the
army in Viet Nam, and Michael at home; a brother, William,
Wilson, and a sister, Sadie, wife of Alfred Fauerbach, Palmer
Township.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Katinis
Funeral Chapel, Wilson. |
