Oliver J. Kiefer Killed in Crash
Former Lower Mt. Bethel Man Dies in Newark
Oliver J. Kiefer, 50 years old, a resident of Newark for the
last 11 years and a former resident of Lower Mt. Bethel Township,
was almost instantly killed in an automobile accident at Newark
early Saturday. He was riding in an automobile with several
friends, when their car was in collision with another automobile.
He was taken to St. Francis Hospital, Newark, and expired about
the time he arrived there.
He is survived by a son, Oliver Kiefer Jr., of Newark and
two daughters, Mrs. James Gunn, of Bloomfield, N.J. and Miss
Helen Kiefer, of Bangor R.D.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m., at the Horton
Funeral Home, Johnsonville, in charge of the Rev. J. O. Reagle
pastor of the Johnsonville Evangelical Reformed Church and
interment will be in Church Hill cemetery, Martins Creek. |
