Mrs. William D. Kern
Mrs. Mary Kiefer Kern, wife of William D. Kern, died at 2:30 o’clock on Wednesday morning at her home near the Three Churches, Lower Mt. Bethel Township, of apoplexy, following a stroke suffered ten days ago.
She would have been sixty years old next May. She is survived by her husband, two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Weller, of Washington, N.J., and Mrs. Stewart S. Weaver, of Easton and by one brother, J. Morris Kiefer of Easton. Deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Keifer and was born, raised and always lived in Lower Mount Bethel Township. She was a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church at Belvidere, N.J. The funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2:40 o’clock with services at the house and interment in the Three Churches Cemetery. |
