Earl V Kiefer
Earl V Kiefer, 83, of 115 N Warren Street, Easton, died Monday in Easton Hospital.
He retired in 1962 from the Easton Water Authority where he was a repairman. He was formerly employed by Treadwell Co. Easton.
Born in Williams Township on Nov 19, 1896, he was a son of the late Abraham and Emma Yotter Kiefer.
He and his wife, the former Florence C Raub, celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary this year.
He was a US Army veteran of World War 1
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Earl F and Paul J, both of Palmer Township and Roy S at home; two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. A Step-son, Russell Beam, died before him.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton, Interment will be in the Hays Cemetery, Easton. |
