Claire K. Nimmo, 71 of Raubsville, died Friday, Oct 27, in her home.
She was a former billing clerk billing clerk for The Express in Easton Working for more than eight years before retiring in 1987.
Born June 16, 1924, in Phillipsburg, she was daughter of late Theodore and Hazel Beers Kiefer.
She was a member of First United Methodist church in Easton, where she formerly served as a trustee, secretary and financial secretary.

She was a member of William Parsons Chapter, 185, Order of Eastern Star of Easton; member and first president of the Ladies Auxiliary of Prosperity Lodge 567 F*AM of Riegelsville, member of the Sewing Club of Easton YWCA; former Den Mother in the Williams Township Cub Scout prgram; and a member of the Delaware Valley Bowman Club of Williams Township.
She and her husband, Roy E., observed their 52nd Wedding anniversary of Sept 1.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, ****. of Medford, Ore.; a daughter, C. Trudy Squarcia of Swell, NJ two brothers Theodore of Williams Township and John of Kingsport, Tenn; Nine Grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Sunday in First United Methodist Church 34, S Second St. Easton Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Robert W. Snyder Funeral Home, 327 Easton Road, Riegelsville. Call after 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Raubsville Cemetery. |
