Charles John Kiefer, 82, of Hanover Township, died April 6 in ManorCare Health Services II, Bethlehem. He was married to Ina L. (Kingery) Kiefer for 49 years in December.
He served in the Air Force for 21 years, including World War II and the Korean War, before retiring as a master sergeant in 1961. After retiring, he was an air policeman for Washington National Airport for 20 years and an employee of Lehigh Valley International Airport.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Blair) Kiefer.
He was a 50-year member of Harm Masonic Lodge, Washington, D.C.
Survivors: Wife; brother, Joseph H. of Tarpon Springs, Fla.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden St., Bethlehem. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday. |
