Arlington Kemmerer, Ex-Church Singer
Arlington S. Kemmerer, 59, of 2661 Nazareth Road, Palmer Township, died yesterday in Eastwood Convalescent home, Wilson, where he was a guest since April 13.
Mr. Kemmerer was employed as a guard at the Bethlehem steel Corp. retiring in 1971.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Stanley and Sadie Moser Kemmerer.
He was a member of memorial United Church of Christ, Wilson.
Mr. Kemmerer formerly sang in the choir at Memorial and St. Mark’s Churches.
Survives include his widow, the former Sarah Nicholas, and a sister, Mrs. John Hoffstadt, West Palm Beach, Fla.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Clements Funeral Home, Waston. Interment will be in Easton. |
