Anna K. Gehrke, 90, of Allentown died Monday, June 8, in Luther Crest Retirement Community, South Whitehall Township. She was the wife of the late John W. Gehrke.
A graduate of the Oberlin Kindergarten Training School, she taught kindergarten for the Reading School District for a few years.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John Franklin and Estelle (Miksch) Kachline.
She was active in the Parent-Teacher Association and Girl Scouts in Dayton, Ohio, and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Allentown.
Survivors: Son, **** of West lake, Ohio; daughter, **** of Dana Point, Calif., two grandchildren, two step- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Luther Crest. No calling hours. Arrangements, Stephens Funeral Home, Allentown. |
