SWEDEN E. JACOBY, 83, WILSON RESIDENT
Sweden E. Jacoby, 83, of 1826 Fairview Ave., Wilson, died early today in Betts Hospital. He had been ill two weeks.
Mr. Jacoby was born in Williams Township on November 14, 1876, a son of William and Emma Hahn Jocoby. He was a resident of the area all his life.
He was oif the Lutheran faith. He was a member of Lehicton Lodge 224, Odd Fellows, Easton.
He was a retired employe of Morey LaRue Laundries, Easton. His wife, Ida Finney Jacoby, died last August.
Surviving are a brother, Lester F. Jacoby, South Pasadena, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Kate White and Mrs. Jennie Illick, both of Easton. He also leaves several nephews and nieces.
The funeral will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday in the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton. |
