Hope M. Ferri, 66, of 30 Birchwood Road, Bangor, died Monday in her home. She was the wife of Anthony "Tony" Ferri Jr., who died last month.
She worked in the office of the Bangor Area School District for five years, retiring in 1977. Previously, she was employed by Magnetic Windings, Wilson, and J.T. Baker Chemical Co., Phillipsburg.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Clyde E. and Helen (Buttner) Huff.
She was the organizer of the Slate Belt Little League Mothers, the East Bangor PTA and the Bangor Football Mothers Club. She served as president of the Slate Belt Little League Mothers and the East Bangor PTA, both for two years. She was a former secretary of the Blue Mountain PTA.
Ferri was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Johnsonville.
She was an active member of the East Bangor Fire Company, having served in all offices, including president for eight years.
Survivors: Daughters, **** of Lancaster, ***** of Hellertown and ***** of Bangor; son, ******. of Bangor; sister, Dorothy H. Fox of Phillipsburg, and six grandchildren.
