Harry Hoffman, Ex-Manager of Dunn Co., Dies
Easton Man, 74, Was with Tobacco Firm for 50 Years
Harry L. Hoffman, 74, of 633 Parsons St., Easton, died this
morning in Easton Hospital.
Mr. Hoffman was general manger of A. R. Dunn Inc., whoilesale
tobacco company. He retired about three years ago after 50
years service with the company.
Born in Raubsvillle on Sept. 20, 1885 he was a son of the
late Jacob W. and Sallie Raub Hoffman.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Raubsville,and
Prosperity Lodge 567, F&AM, Riegelsville.
Surviving are his widow, the former Laura B. Beck; two brothers,
Allan S., Forks Township, and J. William, Cooperburg, and four
sisters, Mrs. Arthur A. Butz, Allentown; Mrs. Leon McGrogan,
West Chester, and Miss Malvina Hoffman and Mrs. Mason Bilder,
both of Raubsville.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Heck Memorial
Home, Easton. |
