Russell E. Hoadley -- I-R retiree
Russell E. Hoadley, 74, of 143 South 14th St., Easton,
died Sunday, Jan. 24, in his home. He was employed by Ingersoll-Rand,
Phillipsburg, for many years before retiring in 1983.
Born
July 26, 1924, in Easton, he was a son of the late Russell
J. and Eva H. Gruber Hoadley. He was an Army Air Force
veteran of World War II. He was a Miller Memorial Blood
Center donor.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He and
his wife, the former Geraldine I. Laros, observed their
50th anniversary last May.
In addition to his wife,
he is survived by a daughter, ***** of Hebron, Conn.;
four brothers, ***** of Bath, ***** of Puyallup,
Wash., and ***** and *****, both of Arizona; five sisters,
***** of Phoenix, Ariz., ***** of Slatington,
Joyce Trenberth and *****, both of Easton,
and ***** of Arizona.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m.
Thursday in the Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton
streets, Easton. Call 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral
home. Burial will be at the Northampton Memorial Shrine,
Palmer Township. |
