Mrs. Flora Hilliard Neiman
Mrs. Flora Hilliard Neiman, widow of C. Stanley Neiman, died suddenly of a heart attack last night at 10 o’clock at Dr. Waygood’s roseleaf farm, Germantown, where she had been patient for over a year, suffering from nervous and other disorders. Her home was at 505 Paxinosa avenue. The information of her death was a great shock to members of the family, some of whom were with her yesterday afternoon and she appeared brighter and better than of late.
Mrs. Neiman possessed a very large circle of friends and they have been concerned over her continued indisposition for a long time. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Sabina Hilliard of this city, a faithful member of College Hill Presbyterian Church and for years a member of the board of directors of the Easton Children’s Home. She is survived by three sisters. Mrs. E. L. Bixler, Miss Annie Hilliard and Mrs. Edward H. Green, all of Easton. A brother Clinton Hilliard and two sisters, Mrs. Amos Dinkey and Mrs. Herbert Gould preceded her in death. There are a number of nieces and nephews and all were devoted to her. |
