Marvin H. "Marty" Hagenbuch
Marvin "Marty" Harold Hagenbuch, of Baker City, Oregon, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004.
Born: September 27, 1932 in Easton, Pa, he was a son of the late Paul M. and R. Olive Kester Hagenbuch.
Personal: His first wife, the former Verna Doll, died in 1984. He and his wife, the former Anna L. Smith Duncan, celebrated their 12th anniversary on February 14, 2004. Marty sold wholesale fishing supplies.Prior to that, he worked at Baker Airport in the maintenance department of communications, weather and navigation systems, and for the Federal Aviation Agency as a senior missile calculating instructor. He was a 1950 graduate of Easton High School. Marty served in the Air Force during peacetime. He was an avid gardener. Marty loved his wife and family deeply and will be sorely missed by those left behind.
Memberships: He was a member of the local American Legion and VFW in Baker City. Survivors: in addition to his wife; he is survived by a stepson, Rodney Duncan; two brothers, *****, of Williams Township, Pa, Bruce , of Forks Township, Pa; a sister, ***** of Easton, Pa; eight nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Services: Graveside services were held in Baker City, Ore. Memorials: to Northeast Oregon Compassion Center, c/o Gray's West & Co. Pioneer Chapel, PO Box 726, Baker City, OR 97814.
