Llewellyn "Lew" Hagenbuch, 83, formerly of Clinton and Sparta, NJ, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2007, in Kirkland Village, Bethlehem, Pa.
Born: In Williams Township, he was a son of the late Clayton and Mary Buttner Hagenbuch.
Personal: He and his wife, the former Marie Hevener, shared 61 years of marriage. He was a 1947 graduate of Lafayette College and had served in the Navy during World War II. He worked as a systems engineer for Picatinny Arsenal.
Memberships: Lew was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem and former member of several churches in the Newton Presbytery where he served as deacon, elder, and Presbytery moderator. He also volunteered and was a board member of the Hunterdon County Help Line.
Survivors: In addition to his wife Marie, he is survived by a son, ***** and his wife ***** of Madison, Wis.; a daughter,***** and her husband **** of Philadelphia; a sister, **** of Palmer Township; brothers, ***** and his wife ***** of Williams Township and *****of Hellertown, and a granddaughter,***** of Philadelphia. Two brothers and two sisters died earlier.
Services: Memorial Service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Kirkland Village, One Kirkland Village Circle, Bethlehem, Pa. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
