Edwin J. Gross
Edwin J. Gross, 71, of LeVan Junction, Orefield R. 1, died yesterday in his home.
He was employed by the Trojan Powder Co. farms until retiring nine years ago.
He was the husband of Sarah (Oswald) Gross. The couple celebrated its golden wedding anniversary in October.
Born in Treichler, Gross was a son of the late James and Catherine Gross.
He was a member of Lutheran Congregation of Zion Stone Church, Kreidersville.
Surviving besides his widow are a son Clarence of Orefield R.1. six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton. Viewing will be 7-9 p.m. tomorrow. |
