Raymond S. Grube, 62, Was War I Veteran
Raymond S. Grube, 62, who died yesterday afternoon in Easton Hospital, served as a corporal in the Army Motor Transportation Corps in France during World War I.
Mr. Grube lived on Bushkill drive, Easton R.D. 2. He was the owner and operator of Grubes Candy Kitchen at that address for 25 years. He entered the hospital on Feb. 23.
A lifelong resident of the Easton area, he was a son of the late William and Harriet Kiefer Grube, He was a member of Brown and Lynch Post 9, American Legion, and was of the Presbyterian faith.
His only immediate survivor is a sister, Mrs. William H. Wilson, of Easton. A nephew, Donald Grube, and a niece Mrs. Donald Reichard, both live in Wilson. Mr. Grube's wife, the former Bessie Harris, died 15 years ago. |
