Nancy G. (Grube) Kuhns, 75, of Breinigsville, died Monday, April 24 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Harvey F. Kuhns Jr., married for 56 years April 15.
Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Correll) Grube. She was a bookkeeper for Kuhns Garage for 40 years. She was certified as a braillist by the Library of Congress in 1969, and worked in her craft transcribing books for the blind until her recent illness. She was a gifted artist. She was a life member of the National Braille Association. She was a lifelong member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Fogelsville, where she was the first female president of church council. She served on various committees over the years, including the ladies auxiliary and youth groups, and she was a volunteer at the Great Allentown Fair. She loved her family, Sunday drives with her husband and her cabin in the woods. She was well loved and will be sorely missed.
Survivors: Husband, Bud; son, ***** and wife, *****, of Breinigsville; daughter, *****. and husband, **** of Emmaus; grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m Saturday, April 29 in St. Johns Lutheran Church, Fogelsville, with the Rev. David D. Long officiating. Calling hour 10-11 a.m. in the church. Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville. |
