Kenneth E.Grube
Kenneth E. Gube, 89, of Easton, died Tuesday, January 10, 2006 in ManorCare Health Services, Palmer Township.
Born: On December 19, 1916 in Freemansburg, Pa., he was a son of the late Stanley and Mary Bryan Grube.
Personal: He and his wife, the former *****, were married 68 years.
He had been employed by the Easton Area School District from 1952 until retiring in 1978. Kenneth was a ticket taker for many years at the Easton football games and at Lafayette College.
Memberships: Kenneth was a life member of the Elk's Lodge; Eagle; Moose;Fleas; Liberty Hose; Rice Ebner Post #588; Citizen's Hose, Safety First Fire Cio., Avone Heights Fire Co., and West Eastom AA, YR Club; Palmer Fire Co., Nazareth Vets; Tatamy Fire Co.; Weston Club; Club Mohican; Pioneer Club; Easton-Phillipsburg Area Old Timers Club; and Varsity E. Club. He was also a charter member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association.
Survivors: In addition to his wife, Catherine, he is survived by a son, *****. of Forks Township; a sister, ***** of Palmer Township; and several nieces and newpews, including *****.
Services: Will be held Friday at 2 p. m. in the Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton Sts., Easton. Call on Friday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. |
